Breakfast Pizza and Marshmallows...yum!

And so, not joking about the marshmallows y'all! Ha, ha...we are having the marshmallows this evening actually. Hubby wants to "make fire", and so we are going to roast hot dogs on the open flame and what goes with them better than burnt sugar? Nothing, if you ask me. But, pretty much everyone else just likes the marshmallows straight out of the bag, what is wrong with them, I ask...
As for the Breakfast Pizza, a very dear friend of mine sent me a recipe for that, and so I will be adapting it for our family, and making that this coming week. As for today though, the kids are set to eat Daddy's Special, you know, the eggs and Velvetta, on toast, open-faced sandwich...they seem to like it, so who am I to judge...
Off to Church I go, in about half an hour...and sometime this afternoon, I am going to go over to my parents house here and dig up raspberry bushes to transplant here at our house. I have their okay on this, and I am actually looking forward to seeing if they do well here. My parents house is closer to the river than we are, and their soil is more like sand than our so we are hoping that the bushes do well.
One thought before I go...The Lord loves you no matter your faults, just don't keep reminding Him or he might say to you, "Enough Already!" Have a Great Day!

Day 27 & 28...Another day After!

Day 27...Super Bowl Sunday...I usually don't eat very much food, but can you say...omg! The kids all had Jim's "special again, with him in the morning, which was fine, but then about 2 p.m. I started, what I thought would be "something simple". Sub sandwiches on french bread, different chips, with cheese dip and bean dip, brownies, and soda. Uuurrgh! Leftovers, you ask! Thank goodness, yes! I hurt, and I only had a what one would consider one serving! Well, except for maybe the brownies, but I can't be held responsible for that, can I. It was the Super Bowl.
Day 28...I am so tempted to eat crackers and flat soda today, after the events of yesterday, but the kids deserve better than an excuse that Mommy doesn't feel so good. My 4 y/o's response to that usually is, "then just go lay down Mommy..." Oh, how simple that would be! So, the plan...definitely something more "simple" that yesterday, that is for sure! P.S. I was still remembering the VW commercial, with the little child who that that they were Darth Vadar. Still laughing at the moment when the car started! So, funny!

Day Five & Day 6

Day Five was a Sunday, so sorry, I did not post. Hubby and the kids had breakfast, and they ate what hubby cooked. Which consisted of his "special"... The special normally consists of 6 over easy eggs on top of four or five "slabs" of Velvetta, all on top of two pieces of buttered toast. I cannot eat this, not sure why, it just does not agree with me, so I did not participate. But Sunday, he modified said special. He actually only cooked five eggs, three for himself, overeasy of course, and one each for the little girls, not over easy though. He gave me a break, which was wonderful.
Day Six, today we are going to consume about half a loaf of thawed banana bread that I had made a few weeks ago, and frozen. They love this, as there are about a handful of mini chocolate chips thrown into each loaf. Even though we will eat 1/2 of the loaf, there will be no leftover beyond this evening, our older daughter, and my hubby will fight for the other half when they both get home. They love bread that I make.
In preparation for tomorrow morning, I am going to make a loaf of homemade bread, in the breadmaker, and once it is cooled, freeze it so that it will slice well...see you in the a.m.
